Our commitment to excellence

Here at Nature’s Best, we believe trust is earned through consistency and care. That’s why we offer both organic and non-GMO certified feed options. These certifications align with the preferences of many of our customers and represent our commitment to clear labeling and responsible sourcing.

We are Non-GMO Project verified

Non-GMO Project verification provides another level of assurance. It focuses specifically on the absence of genetically modified organisms in food and feed products. Unlike USDA Organic, which covers multiple sustainability practices, Non-GMO verification is centered on genetic purity.

At Kreamer Feed, we understand that some customers prioritize non-GMO certification as a key part of their values. That’s why we offer feed options that meet both USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project standards. This gives you the power to choose what’s best for your farm.

..And also USDA Organic certified!

USDA Organic certification is the gold standard for organic farming in the United States. When you see the USDA Organic seal, it means the product has met strict federal guidelines for how it was grown, raised, and processed

At Kreamer Feed, we were one of the first in the industry to manufacture organic feed. It’s not just a product line for us. It’s a legacy. We work closely with trusted local growers and organic partners to ensure everything we produce meets or exceeds USDA standards.

Ask us anything

Straight answers. Zero jargon. Let’s get to it.

No. Our feeds are non‑medicated and do not contain animal by‑products, added growth hormones, or antibiotics. We believe in providing clean nutrition the way nature intended.

You can find our products through our Available Online page, at most Tractor Supply® locations nationwide, Tractor Supply® online store, or through our “Find a Store” tool on the website. We also offer bulk tote‑feed options for larger operations.

Our feeds are USDA‑Certified Organic, Non‑GMO Project Verified, non‑medicated, and free of animal by‑products. We are part of Kreamer Feed, a family‑owned mill in Pennsylvania in operation since 1947, so our heritage, quality, and service set us apart.

We provide complete, organic feed solutions for poultry (chicks, layers, meat birds, ducks, game birds) and livestock (goats, pigs, rabbits, cattle) in both bagged and bulk quantities.

Yes. Every bag carries both the USDA “Organic” seal and the Non‑GMO Project Verified butterfly mark. We use rigorous testing and go beyond minimum standards for quality and purity.

Check the lot number printed on your bag or on the sewn-on paper tag attached to your bag. It includes the Julian day of manufacture. For more details on expiration and storage, visit organicfeeds.com/expirations

Organic feed ingredients have more stringent approval standards before being included in feed formulas and provide your animals with clean ingredients. It’s an investment in the well‑being of your flock or herd.

Yes. We provide tote feed (e.g., 2000 lb units) for backyard farms and larger operations. These are ideal for cost efficiency and larger‑volume feeding needs. We recommend, due to freight costs, ordering this option for pickup at your local NBO retailer. Farm equipment is not needed at pickup to load your tote feed, but will be at your farm operation to unload.

Yes. We formulate feeds by age and animal type (e.g., chick starter/grower, layer, broiler, goat pellets for growing/adult).

Yes, all Nature’s Best Organic Feeds formulas contain soy, which we include intentionally as a nutrient-dense, plant-based protein source that supports strong growth, muscle development, and production in animals. Unlike conventional soy, our soy is USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and free from harmful additives or processing chemicals. It provides essential amino acids needed for feather regrowth, muscle strength, and egg production.

Store feed in a cool, dry place with good ventilation away from direct sunlight, moisture, and pests. Proper storage maximizes freshness and nutritional performance.

Though the amounts of each ingredient and inclusion in our feeds as a whole is proprietary (we can’t completely give away our special recipes!), we do provide a complete list of ingredients and a Guaranteed Analysis on each bag or sewn-on bag tag, as well as on the product’s website page.

This information can also be found on the product pages of our partnering retailer’s sites. If there is a specific ingredient inclusion you need to know (for example: “How much niacin is in this feed?”), please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
