JANUARY 2016 –
Alina Corey, Staff Nutritionist at Kreamer Feed, Inc., received the American Feed Industry Association’s “30 Under 30” award at the International Production and Processing Expo in Atlanta on Wednesday, January 27th.
AFIA’s “30 Under 30” program recognizes the leadership qualities of and invests in young professionals who work for companies actively involved in the production and processing of animal feed. It also provides exposure to the world’s largest show involving the production and processing of meat and poultry products and the manufacturing of feed and pet food products (IPPE). The award exposes its recipients to the latest technology used in the industry as well as complimentary registration and lodging at the expo.
Corey has a keen awareness of opportunities and is developing a vast understanding of the organic industry. She was a major player in Kreamer Feed, Inc. achieving a Non-GMO Project verified status and is currently enrolled in the Leadership Susquehanna Valley program of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce. Corey has a Master of Science degree from West Virginia University, with areas of study in poultry nutrition and feed manufacturing.
